Rheumers is a group dedicated to the support of arthritis sufferers in and around the North Devon area. The group is run by people who have arthritic disease themselves, and who are often joined by their partners or carers. We also enjoy the support of the rheumatology team from North Devon District Hospital.

We also aim to support the services offered to rheumatology patients in our area.

We hold meetings for members at intervals during the year, offering information and a chance to meet with others who understand living with arthritis. Guest speakers at these meetings can include health specialists, representatives from North Devon District Hospital and manufacturers of specialised equipment to assist the day-to-day living of arthritis sufferers.

Members also receive a quarterly newsletter reinforcing the help given at meetings, and giving details of forthcoming events.
